The International Network of Creatives welcomes Scotty Curlee to its 2024 Accelerate Creative Conference, held November 1-2 at Florida Gulf Coast University in Ft. Myers, Florida.
The Accelerate Conference will inspire and equip artists, writers, musicians, filmmakers, actors, and all other creative types. It brings together experts and leaders nationwide to educate, energize, and inspire the next generation of creatives.
Scotty Curlee is an award-winning Korean American writer, producer, actor, and director specializing in faith, family, and inspirational content. He is known for War Room, Overcomer, and Extraordinary. Curlee is an Assistant Professor in the Cinematic Arts Department at Liberty University, teaching Specialty Producing.
Curlee attended Liberty to study sports management. He then earned his MBA at Averett University and worked in the pharmaceutical industry. Scotty’s pursuit of a new passion led him to filmmaking. Jerold Franks, a casting director, introduced him to the film industry. Soon he had written, produced, directed and distributed The Potential Inside.
His film, The Potential Inside about a veteran professional cyclist on the path to redemption received eight Official Selection nominations in five countries and debuted on the Stars-Encore channel.
Extraordinary, based on a true marriage journey, is released nationally through a Fathom one-night event and is available on DVD and Digital HD through Universal Home Entertainment. Most recently, Scotty produced Eleanor’s Bench for SONY/Affirm Originals, and it is currently one of the top-performing shows on the Great American Pureflix platform. He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and Producers Guild of America.
The Accelerate Conference is for artists, writers, musicians, filmmakers, performers, techies, other creative types, students and professionals, communicators, churches, and ministries. Sessions cover various topics that allow creatives to accelerate their passion, purpose, and process effectively and impactfully.
