Catherine Jeanty is a Southwest Florida performer, musician, and educator who began her journey at age 3 with dance classes and later with violin and piano at ages 8 and 9.

Catherine has received music scholarships for both High School and College. Ms. Jeanty played piano at the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall as a young pianist, having been invited by the local chapter of the Association of Music Teachers in New York. Catherine joined INC’s creative community two years ago, and her life has never been the same.
“INC has transformed my life in ways I never expected. In November 2024, a single Instagram post led me to the INC Creatives Connect Mixer — and from the moment I walked in, everything changed. I was moved to find an entire community of Christian artists right here in Southwest Florida, people who share both my faith and my passion for creativity. Joining INC didn’t just expand my network; it deepened my relationship with God at a time when I needed it most.
Joining INC didn’t just expand my network; it deepened my relationship with God at a time when I needed it most.
This season of my life has been one of deep reflection and intentional searching — for purpose, for belonging, for people to truly do life with. I began going to church regularly, and last December, Dr. Bill Barnett extended an invitation that I simply couldn’t ignore. Since then, door after door has opened. Opportunities I couldn’t have imagined have become reality, all because I said yes to this community.”
Catherine shares:
“If you are a creative who longs to grow — spiritually, artistically, and relationally — INC is where you belong. I am profoundly grateful to have found a faith-based, nurturing space that doesn’t ask you to choose between your calling and your Creator. Here, they are one and the same.”
In High School, Catherine toured Europe as part of a musical performance program for nominated student musicians called the Florida Ambassadors of Music. During her time there, she visited seven countries over three weeks and played the violin with a select few from her orchestra class. She recently joined the Gulf Coast Symphony as well. Catherine is a graduate of Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida, and she currently teaches violin and piano at Mr. Music in Fort Myers. She has additionally been involved in local musical theater in Southwest Florida- she was in the Wizard of Oz, where she played the role of Glinda, the good witch, and she is a part of the Commercial Acting Agency, called Bailey’s Entertainment Group.
Ms. Jeanty is a force of purpose and heart — driven by an unwavering passion to uplift others through the power of her gifts. From bringing joy and dignity to residents at retirement homes across Southwest Florida, to commanding the stage in local community theatre, she pours herself fully into every performance and every life she touches.
