(NAPLES, FLORIDA) The International Network of Creatives welcomes actor, singer, and musician Grayson Russell to its 2024 Accelerate Creative Conference, held November 1-2 at Florida Gulf Coast University in Ft. Myers, Florida.
The Accelerate Conference will inspire and equip artists, writers, musicians, filmmakers, actors, and all other creative types. It brings together experts and leaders nationwide to educate, energize, and inspire the next generation of creatives.
Grayson Russell is known best for his “Texas Ranger” role in the NASCAR Cult Classic Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.
Russell’s acting career began with commercials at age six, when he played “Cowboy Grayson” for a local car dealership, McDonald’s, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. His film career began with the role of Texas Ranger Bobby, the son of racecar driver Ricky Bobby, played by Will Ferrell in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.
Other films include The Rainbow Tribe, Disney’s sitcom I’m in the Band, and the film adaptation of author Jeff Kinney’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Russell played Fregley, an awkward and unpopular classmate of Greg Heffley. Later, reprising the role in the sequels Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (2011) and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days (2012). Grayson appeared in the Alien Candy episode of R.L Stine’s The Haunting Hour, playing an autistic baseball savant named Rafer in the 2013 feature film Season of Miracles, taking his acting career to a higher level.
In his most recent film, Greyhound (2020), Grayson played a signalman in the Apple TV+ movie starring Tom Hanks. Greyhound was nominated for an Academy Award in 2021.

As a musician, Russell has opened for six Grammy Winners and actively tours playing everything from Southern Rock and Pop to Southern Gospel. He grew up in the Church of God and gave his life to Christ while filming “Talladega Nights” at seven. He has actively used his platform to lead worship and preach across the nation ever since.
Grayson Russell’s commitment to personal and professional growth is evident in his recent graduation from The Pentecostal Theological Seminary with a Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree. All of Grayson’s pursuits and opportunities are as much a part of his ministry as being a light to others in the entertainment industry. He intends to use this knowledge and his platform to minister to other actors and entertainers, offering hope and support in their journeys.
