International Network of Creatives President Dr. Bill Barnett announced that Naples philanthropists and community leaders Miles and Mimi Scofield will serve as the chairs of its third annual Spring into the Arts Gala, honoring distinguished artists who have made a significant impact in Southwest Florida, on March 5, 2026, at the Naples Grande Beach Resort.

About The Scofields

Mimi is originally from Louisville, Kentucky, and has been a resident of Naples since 1992.  As the Founder and President of Scofield Productions, LLC, a premier event production company, she is aligned with celebrities, TV personalities, accomplished authors, and CEOs of Fortune 500 companies.

Over the last 25 years as a philanthropist, Mimi has been very active in giving back to the community by serving on numerous Boards and Committees, lending her talents and expertise to further their causes.

Her past Board positions include Vice President of Bosom Buddies Breast Cancer Support and Vice Chair of the Drug Free Collier Board of Directors.  She currently serves on the board of directors of St. Matthew House. Being raised by a father who was a very successful businessman and a mother who was an accomplished playwright, actress, author, and musician, she gained a lifetime of valuable influence from both parents, which enabled her to become a successful entrepreneur.  With the urging of her mother to follow in her mother’s footsteps, Mimi was cast in the Disney film “Gone Fishin’”, starring Danny Glover and Joe Pesci, as Rosanna Arquette’s stand-in and stunt double.

Miles has been a resident of South Florida since 1952.  His grandfather served as the Sheriff of Collier County from 1928 to 1953. Miles has been a partner in Half Circle L Ranch, located in Immokalee, which was established by his grandfather in the 1930s as a cattle ranch. Miles joined his father in the marine construction business and later started Marine Lumber Supply. The Scofield family's marine construction business played a pivotal role in the waterfront development of Collier County. He has served on various boards and committees, including the Southwest Florida Land Preservation Trust, past President of the Rotary Club of Naples, Advisory Board Guardian Ad Litem for the Naples Zoo, Collier Building Industry Association, Trinity by the Cove Vestry, and the Advisory Board of Collier County Coastal Storm Risk Management.  After retiring from Scofield Marine, he now serves as a part-time consultant to Turrell, Hall and Associates, a marine and environmental consulting firm. His latest venture is TravelArmorCase ™, which manufactures and sells small firearms travel cases designed for TSA travel.
