Spotlight: Urban Contemporary Artist Christopher Alonso
Christopher Alonso is an artist based in Southwest Florida with a background in design. Chris works at Arthrex Corporation, a medical equipment manufacturing company in Naples, Florida. As Senior Multimedia Designer at Studio X, Alonso supports the producers, cinematographers, and editors with prep, production, and post-production design needs, respectively. Chris leads the systems process for the designers for project intake and delivery.

Alonso's Project LØNE began as an idea after he affirmed his passion and calling to the creative industry and his love of art and illustration. Chris heard that the world's most incredible artists have yet to be discovered because they are too afraid to share their work.
Project LØNE is about me sharing my art, my unique side, with everyone through digital and traditional mediums. After 14+ years in the creative industry working for various corporations, I picked up a brush, pencil, spray can, and most recently, an iPad and began painting for myself and for the enjoyment of others. My jellyfish characters are my anchor for creativity, which I use for storytelling.

"My faith in God influences my art, including cartoons I watched as a child, video games, street art, and even Japanese car culture. As young as I can remember, I have also always had a fascination and a romance with graffiti, street art, skate culture, and, of course, the arts in general."
Chris mentors middle and high school students at INC's Emerging Creatives program and is a member of the Inspired Men's Collective group.
