Christopher Alonso is an artist based in Southwest Florida with a background in design. Chris is employed with Arthrex Corporation, a medical equipment manufacturing company in Naples, Florida. As Senior Multimedia Designer at Studio X, Alonso supports the producers, cinematographers, and editors with prep, production, and post production design needs, respectively. Chris leads the systems process for the designers for project intake and delivery.
Alonso's Project LØNE began as an idea after he affirmed his passion and calling to the creative industry and his love of art and illustration. Chris heard that the world's most incredible artists have yet to be discovered because they are too afraid to share their work.
Project LØNE is about me sharing my art, my unique side, with everyone through digital and traditional mediums. After 14+ years in the creative industry working for various corporations, I picked up a brush, pencil, spray can, and most recently, an iPad and began painting for myself and for the enjoyment of others. My jellyfish characters are my anchor for creativity, which I use for storytelling.
"My faith influences my art, including cartoons I watched as a child, video games, street art, and even Japanese car culture. As young as I can remember, I have also always had a fascination and a romance with graffiti, street art, skate culture, and, of course, the arts in general."
In the future, Chris plans to have many gallery showings, scale his art business, and continue to use the profits to support organizations making a difference in the lives of children, families, and communities.
"I came to faith in Christ at age 16. I now recognize that I am free in Him, a child of Light of the Father of Lights. I have been in the creative industry my entire life as a believer. I often pray to God to help me brainstorm professionally and creatively. Who better to ask for help in creation than the Creator of the universe? My hope is aligned with God that all would come to know Him and begin a lifelong relationship with His son, Jesus."
