KEN VITOR

 

Ken Vitor discovered his passion for marble sculpture in 1996 after responding to an art magazine advertisement inviting attendees to a marble symposium in Marble, Colorado. This outdoor symposium, set high in the mountains alongside the Crystal River near the marble quarry, allowed him to sculpt alongside some of the finest artists from the United States and worldwide each summer. Ken’s talent is a unique gift from God, driven by a heart inspired to create and glorify the Great Creator. While design comes naturally to him, expressing that design requires considerable thought and effort. Each piece he creates takes between 200 to 600 hours to complete. “Forty percent along the way,” he shares. Ken views his sculptures as memorial stones that glorify a mighty and powerful God, worthy of worship and praise.
