The Storytellers Creative Arts volunteers are joining the effort to make masks to help save the lives of people infected with the novel coronavirus and to protect the lives of medical professionals and caregivers. Storytellers is partnering with a local Naples residential community to drive the mission. Lee Memorial, Physicians Regional, and Naples Community Hospitals are supplying the medical-grade fabric, and volunteer seamstresses are sewing the fabric to produce an alternative to the N95 mask. In addition to this mask type, we are making washable cloth masks. The MOP will be an ongoing outreach to the community.
